CFR Information for RTF Providers:
Effective for the cost report period July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2005, all Residential Treatment Facilities (RTFs), program code 1080, will be required to report on the Consolidated Fiscal Report (CFR), the cost of atypical antipsychotic medications found on the list below, the cost of all other psychotropic medications and the cost of all other prescription medications in accordance with the following instructions:
Costs related to the purchase of prescription medications will be reported on CFR-1, line 40 as an OTPS expense. Values on this line are required to be detailed, and approved CFR software will include three predefined definition options for: 1) Atypical Antipsychotic Medications RTF only; 2) All Other Psychotropic Medications RTF only; 3) All Other Prescription Medications RTF Only. For each definition enter the value for that expense.
The total cost of all atypical antipsychotic medications contained on the list below should be entered on the line with the matching description. The total cost of all other psychotropic medications not contained on the atypical antipsychotic medication list should be entered on the line with that description and finally, the total cost of all remaining prescription drug medications not included on the atypical antipsychotic or psychotropic medication lines should be reported on the line with that label in the description field.
