OASAS New Guidance for Part 822 Providers Using the Interim Documentation Strategy

The Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) Interim Documentation Strategy Leaving OMH site was developed to facilitate compliance with OASAS Part 822 Outpatient and Opioid Treatment Program regulations that were revised effective July 1, 2011 until such time as the NYSCRI form set could be updated with regard to these changes.  Since the NYSCRI form set has been updated to be compliant with the current Part 822 regulations as of December 17, 2012, new guidance has been issued for existing NYSCRI users on the transition from the Interim Documentation Strategy to the new NYSCRI form set.  Use the Interim Documentation Strategy Leaving OMH site link to go to the OASAS Part 822 Resources page for specific guidance for existing and new NYSCRI users.
