April 3 and April 9, 2013 2013 Facility Survey Webcast Leaving OMH site Describes how to complete the Facility Survey in MHPD in preparation for reporting client data in the Patient Characteristics Survey in the fall of 2013. In the Facility Survey, providers update their list of licensed or OMH-funded programs by submitting requests to close or open programs.

Re-release June 8, 2012 NIMRS Medication Event Training Medication Events is training video that instructs New York State Incident Management and Reporting System (NIMRS) users how to use this separate module for recording all medication errors in accordance with the National Coordinating Council for Medication Error Reporting and Prevention (NCC MERP) Taxonomy of Errors. Included in this training is how to record "near miss" events for cases where the Medication did not reach the client but could have resulted in a more serious event.

Jan. 6, 2012 PSYCKES Access and Implementation for Behavioral Health Inpatient Providers The webinar is designed for staff who will be responsible for managing implementation of Psychiatric Services and Clinical Knowledge Enhancement System (PSYCKES) in behavioral health inpatient settings. It reviews the steps required for institutions to obtain authorization for access to PSYCKES, and the procedures for granting staff access to PSYCKES using the New York State Office of Mental Health on-line Security Management System. It also covers the best practices for implementing PSYCKES in inpatient settings.
