The National Center on Education, Disability and Juvenile Justice (EDJJ) Leaving OMH site
This site examines the over representation of youth with disabilities at-risk for contact with the courts or already involved in the juvenile delinquency system. We provide professional development and technical assistance, conduct research and disseminate resources in Prevention, Education and Special Education for detained and committed youth, Mental Health, Substance Abuse Resources, Juvenile Justice Organizations and more.

OJJDP accomplishes its mission by supporting states, local communities, and tribal jurisdictions in their efforts to develop and implement effective programs for juveniles.  The Office strives to strengthen the juvenile justice system's efforts to protect public safety, hold offenders accountable, and provide services that address the needs of youth and their families.
