Prior Approval Review
Who needs to apply?

The Prior Approval Review (PAR) process is used to review projects/activities, including the establishment and/or changes in the operation of a mental health program for the mentally ill, that require Office of Mental Health approval prior to initiation, implementation, completion, operation of a program. The Office of Mental Health certifies the types of programs listed below. In order to determine if the services you intend to provide require licensure, click on the Program Definitions, review the program descriptions, and follow the links for the Review Categories, PAR application, Regulations Leaving OMH site and Licensed Program Types for specific program information.
