This RFP is for the development of up to 350 units of Supported Housing designed to support the Medicaid Redesign Team Housing Recommendations. All individuals admitted to this housing must be identified as high users of Medicaid services. Agencies must work with the OMH operated Psychiatric Center (PC) and the Health Home established for the region where the housing will be developed.

The NYS OMH announces the availability of funds for the development and operation of up to 312 units of Supported Housing in NYC and Long Island (LI). The housing and services are designated for persons with serious mental illness and who meet high need eligibility criteria as specified in the RFP. Agencies must collaborate with at least one of the Health Homes established for the region where housing will be developed.

Individuals being discharged from Kingsboro PC, or individuals residing in OMH State-operated residential facilities within the Kingsboro catchment area are eligible for priority access.

The NYS OMH announces the availability of funds for the development and operation of licensed Apartment Treatment Housing in the Hudson River Region as follows: 4 units in Putnam County, 9 units in Dutchess County, and 12 units in Ulster County. These Apartment Treatment units will serve persons with serious mental illness affected by the recent closure of the Hudson River Psychiatric Center and restructuring of the Rockland Psychiatric Center.

The Office of Mental Health is issuing this RFP to support the development of citywide brief residential respite services in NYC for children and adolescents. The purpose of respite bed availability is to prevent time-limited stressors or crises from requiring emergency room visits, inpatient hospitalization, or other institutional placement and to support maintaining youth within their communities and at their highest level of functioning.

The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) announces this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the development and operation of three 25-Bed Transition to Community Residential Programs for persons with serious mental illness residing in the Pilgrim Psychiatric Center Residential Care Center for Adults (RCCA) called "Residence on the Sound", with two of the 25-bed units phasing out in two years and transitioning to 75 Supported Housing beds within the community.

1/4/13 Update: The OMH thanks you for your interest in the above referenced solicitation. The NYS Office of Information Technology has revised its mandate and no longer requires the OMH to obtain an IV&V consulting contract for our pending EMR project. OMH will not be rebidding for IV&V services.
The OMH seeks a Contractor to provide Independent Validation and Verification including project management support, quality control and assurance, oversight, and risk mitigation for the OMH's mission-critical Electronic Medical Records Project (EMR). The primary focus of the Contractor is to ensure that the products developed and processes employed by the EMR Project meet specified requirements and standards, and are consistent with the project plans.

NYC Mental Health Care Monitoring Initiative Request for Proposal UpdateAs a result of anticipated changes in the New York State's Executive Budget for 2011, OMH is not able to move forward with its Request for Proposal (RFP) for the NYC Mental Health Care Monitoring Initiative at this time. The New York State Office of Mental Health has withdrawn the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the NYC Mental Health Care Monitoring Initiative, effective immediately. As a result of this action, the Mandatory Bidders Conference, scheduled for Wednesday, March 9, 2011 has been canceled. Any proposals received in response to this RFP will be returned to sender, unopened. Notification of this withdrawal will be posted in the New York State Contract Reporter, as well as on the Office of Mental Health's Website.

The NYS OMH announces the availability of funds for operating and services costs of Service-Enriched Single Room Occupancy (SRO) housing to be developed within NYC under the NY/NY III initiative. This funding will only be targeted to NY/NY III Population A homeless housing units being developed with capital funding from the NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance and/or NYS Homes and Community Renewal. Funding is available for up to 935 units and must be developed within a larger mixed use housing project.
